 Bill Akuma is a highly experienced healthcare professional with over 20 years of experience in the industry. He is currently the President and CEO of Uplifted Care Services, a company that provides compassionate and personalized care for seniors and individuals with disabilities. As a licensed assisted living director, Bill deeply understands the needs and challenges of this vulnerable population, and he is passionate about improving their quality of life.

In addition to his work in the healthcare industry, Bill is also a cultural consultant with a focus on the intersection of African norms, values, health-seeking behaviors, and disease prevention. He believes that cultural competence is essential for providing effective care to diverse populations, and he has dedicated himself to promoting cultural understanding and sensitivity in the healthcare field.

Bill is also an adult and youth mental health first aid instructor and an ACEs (adverse childhood experiences) instructor. He recognizes the importance of addressing mental health issues and trauma in order to promote overall wellness, and he is committed to empowering individuals and communities to overcome these challenges.

As the founder of the "How We Wake, How We Sleep" podcast series, Bill is also a respected researcher and expert in the field of dementia and overall wellness. He has conducted extensive research into the root causes of these conditions and is dedicated to finding innovative solutions that can improve the lives of those affected.

Bill holds an MBA, which has provided him with the business acumen and leadership skills necessary to manage and grow Uplifted Care Services successfully. He is a dynamic and visionary leader who is committed to making a positive impact in the healthcare industry and beyond.

Damaris Nyaben is a renowned public health nutritionist (PHN) with over 25 years of experience in the field. Her expertise in nutrition has made her a go-to professional in matters related to health and wellness. Damaris is a strong advocate for healthy eating habits and has dedicated her life to improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities.

In addition to her work in nutrition, Damaris is also a certified ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) instructor. This certification allows her to educate others on the impact of childhood trauma on mental and physical health. She is a certified mental health first aider since 2018, which means she is equipped to provide initial support to someone experiencing a mental health crisis or challenge.

Aside from her professional accolades, Damaris is also the president of all North America division of Kenyan pastors' wives. Her leadership skills have been instrumental in bringing together Kenyan pastors' wives across North America to support each other and their communities.

Damaris is also a mentor to many young professionals in the field of public health and nutrition. Her guidance and support have helped many individuals to advance their careers and achieve their goals.

Damaris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Nutrition. Her educational background and extensive professional experience make her a highly respected nutritionist and public health expert.

  Bendu Chi-Chi Kollie is the Owner and Manager of Loyalty Partners LLC.Real Estate- General Services, and Merchandising Company. She heads the (ANYCAP ) All Nations Youth and Community Assistance Program, which provides culturally specific food to minority and vulnerable communities in Minneapolis and it’s surroundings. 

Bendu began her professional career as a Program Coordinator in Liberia, with the Justice and Peace Commission’s International Alert sponsored Peace Building Program in the early 2000’s. She immigrated to the USA and has worked as a Loan Post Closer, and Loan closer with Wells Fargo, US Bank and Bank of America. Bendu also worked with Rust Consulting Inc, a Minneapolis Class Action Settlement firm, as a Project Manager III, regulating and administering Multimillion Dollar Lawsuit Claims.

Bendu obtained a bachelor’s degree from the AME Zion University in Monrovia, Liberia. In addition, she holds anMSc. In Project Management from the St. Mary’s University in Minnesota. Bendu has a Graduate Certificate in Agricultural Biosecurity and Food Defense from the Penn State University and is a MPS degree Candidate in Community and Economic Development at the Penn State University.

 Collins Maranga RN is a highly accomplished healthcare professional with over 20 years of experience in the field. He is a certified CPR instructor and has trained countless individuals in life-saving techniques. 

In addition to his work in healthcare, Collins is also deeply involved in his community. He has been the Minnesota conference pathfinder director for several years and has worked tirelessly to guide young people toward a path of purpose and leadership. His dedication to this role has earned him the respect and admiration of many in his community.

Collins is also an ordained pastor and has served in various capacities within his church. He is a gifted speaker and has used his platform to inspire and encourage those around him. His sermons are known for their practicality, wisdom, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

Throughout his career, Collins has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and a passion for helping others. He has received numerous awards and accolades for his work in healthcare and community service, including recognition from the American Red Cross for his outstanding contributions as a CPR instructor.
